Many Instagram users has suffered in recent days a curious spam attack: the automatic publication of photographs fruit from their accounts along with a link spam.
These photographs include a text and a Bitly link that redirects users to a fake BBC page that announces a coffee to lose weight . It has received about 35,000 clicks. “Have you ever seen this? Guess it’s super healthy, I’m testing. Saw it in the show by Dr. Oz! The link is in my bio # lovemyfollowers # health” can be read in the text.
“A small portion of our users have experienced an incident of spam based on the publication of unwanted pictures from your accounts. Our security and spam team have taken swift action to ensure the accounts involved, and the photos published are being deleted , “said an employee of Instagram.

Twitter has also seen a significant increase in spam earlier this week, also focused miracle diets and suggestions to lose weight, although it may not have any relationship.
