Google presents fifth redesign of its logo since 1998 – Diario Financiero

Three weeks after Google surprised with the creation of a conglomerate called Alphabet to group its many business divisions, the Internet giant revealed yesterday . the fifth modification of its iconic logo from 1998

The case for change they find in their own career: in 17 years the company has changed a lot, both in the range of products like in appearance. The new logo retains the colors but switches to a sans-serif typeface.

The new identity, presented with a “doodle” on its website, “is intended to make it accessible and useful to our users Google” a logo adaptable to all services and formats in which it is present in both mobile devices and computers, watches or cars.

“This is not the first time we have changed our appearance and probably will not be the last, but we think that today’s update largely reflects the performance of Google in Search, Maps, Gmail, Chrome and many other services, “said the company in its corporate blog.
