This day died four years ago Steve Jobs, one of the founders of Apple Coorporación, a company that started in the garage of this young man and his friend Steve Wozniak and is now the most valuable in the World the company Interbrand valued at 140 billion dollars.

Today, his successor, Tim Cook, was the first to remember such a key date via his Twitter account: “Remembering Steve, who and what . We honor that made continuing the work he loved #, wrote on the wall along with a photo of the legendary visionary

Apple has set up a condolence page (http:. // www.apple.com/stevejobs/) for anyone who wants to share their desires, memories or thoughts about their founder.

Note that Jobs died on October 5, 2011 at 56 years of age because of pancreatic cancer, just one day after the presentation of the iPhone 4S.

Similarly Tim Cook sent a letter to its workers he talks about Steve Jobs:

Team Today marks four years since Steve died that day, the world lost a visionary We at Apple lost a leader, a mentor,… and many of us lost a dear friend.

Steve was a brilliant person and his priorities were simple. He loved his family above all, he loved Apple and loved the people who worked so closely and with which he has achieved so much.

Every year since his death, I I reminded everyone in the Apple community who share the privilege and responsibility to continue the work that Steve loved so much.

What is your legacy? I see it all around us: an amazing team that embodies the spirit of innovation and creativity. The best products of the earth, loved by customers and empower hundreds of millions of people worldwide. The achievements in technology and architecture. Experiences of surprise and joy. A company that only he could have built. A company with a strong determination to change the world for the better.

And, of course, the joy he brought to his loved ones.

He said several times in his later years he hoped to live long enough to see some of the milestones in the life of their children. I was in his office during the summer with Laurene and his younger daughter. Messages and pictures of their sons to their father still there, on the board of Steve.

If you never met Steve, is likely to work with someone who did or who was here when he led Apple. Please, for one of us today and ask how it was. Several of us have our personal memories published on the website of Apple, and I encourage you to read them.

Thank you for honoring Steve continuing the work he started, and remember who was both and what he stood for you.
