Russian Hackers exploited a bug in Microsoft Windows and other software to spy on computers used by NATO, the EU, Ukraine Union energy and telecommunications companies, according to research firm Cyber Intelligence iSight Partners.
ISight said he did not know what information the hackers had found, but he suspected they were looking for information on the Ukrainian crisis and diplomatic issues, energy and telecommunications, based on the objectives and content of the emails used to infect computers with virus files.
