By this time of year, the Earth passes through the area, comet pieces get into the atmosphere and look like shooting stars.
It is a stellar show, which can be seen without problems throughout the Hemisphere North, including Venezuela.
Carlos Quintana, professor of Astronomy and member of Star Trek Venezuela says you do not need any special attachment to observe the Perseids, except interest.
“Although the maximum point of observation will be on Thursday at 2 am (ie, from Wednesday to Thursday morning) we suggest that the phenomenon nightly observe, to perceive how the number of meteors per hour increases, “explains Quintana.
The meteor shower starts every night this week at midnight, but a few hours later when the radiant, where the meteors are, it becomes visible because the rotation of the Earth has risen about 30 degrees.
