The social network Myspace was Hacked during the weekend and sensitive user information filtered network, confirmed on Tuesday Times Inc., parent company of multimedia and social platform.
According to Time, the attack was the work of Peace, a group of hackers of Russian origin, and leaked information corresponds to user names, email and passwords registered before of June 11, 2013, date on which Myspace launched an enhanced version of the site interface issues and security.
“Before the weekend of Memorial Day ( Memorial Day in English), we realized that Myspace users credentials were available in online forums hackers . ” It explained in the statement. Time Inc. does not say the amount of information or number of users affected, but ensures that the financial information of its users was not published.
