This morning the famous source of leaks Evan Blass (@evleaks) revealed that the new iPhone come in the week of September 12, but it was unclear whether it was the announcement date or the arrival in stores.
a few hours later, Blass has clarified that date he was referring to the date of arrival in the shops, and has specified that will be on Friday September 16.
This means that the event date announcement should happen well before, we do not know the date chosen by Apple for the event
