Juno sends its first view of the orbiting Jupiter – CNET in Spanish

Jupiter and three of its moons in one of the first photos of Juno.

a week after the spacecraft Juno NASA went into orbit around Jupiter on July 4, the first images taken by this unmanned spacecraft reach Earth.

on Sunday, six days after it began its orbit, the most visible camera Juno was lit, capturing the scene around him, showing that survived its first passage through the intense radiation of the planet.

the image shows Jupiter with its famous giant red spot, and three of its four largest moons. Io, Europa and Ganymedes, which is believed hides an ocean, although it is Europe that concentrates the gaze of the Earth to the possibility that shelter some sort of life

NASA ensures that high-resolution images of Jupiter will be sent by Juno in the coming weeks. For more than a year and a half this spacecraft will fly around the gas giant, will study its great auroras and at certain times be able to go below its dense clouds to learn more about the structure of this planet, and perhaps even look for signs of science fiction creatures able to live in that environment or, perhaps, oceans ever seen.

Juno in January broke the record of solar impulse, all because during the five years that lasted his journey to Jupiter has depended on this energy to achieve your goal.
