Our galaxy is much more crowded after the NASA confirmed Wednesday a bonanza of 715 newly discovered planets outside our Solar System .
Scientists use the Kepler telescope have almost doubled the number of discovered planets in the galaxy This figure is now around 700 thousand. 20 years ago, astronomers had not found any planets around stars beyond our Sun
Astronomers used a new technique to achieve confirmation present the largest group of planets that have been announced at a given time.
All new systems are like ours, where multiple planets revolve around a star. Four of the newly discovered habitable are in areas where there is very cold or excessive heat.
