The big technology firms have joined forces in a partnership in Artificial Intelligence (AI, for its acronym in English), with the purpose of cooperate in “best practices” in the use of this technology to benefit people and society”.
Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Facebook, IBM and the british firm of artificial intelligence DeepMind, a Google-owned, announced on Wednesday the non-profit organization “Partnership on AI”, focused on helping the public to understand the use of the technology and its application in the field.
The agreement aims to establish a coordinated work between the experts to discuss and define the steps to follow to address the emerging challenges of this new technology in areas such as psychology, philosophy, economics, finance, sociology and law.
