Facebook launched its news app Notify – Univision

Facebook launched Wednesday Notify a
  news application quick sending notices to
 users based on their interests and offers the option of accessing
 a closer link to open the content in the browser.

 
 “Today we are presenting Notify,
 a new Facebook application that delivers notifications
 things that interest you to your favorite sources, all
 concentrated in the same place, “said Julian Gutman, director
 Facebook product on the official blog of the network.



 
 Users who download the
 application can choose to be notified of games
 sports, weather, the latest movies on billboards or
 informational alerts
of CNN.

 
 Notify also offer suggestions to
 users according to their profiles on Facebook and allow
 share Favorite notifications via text message and
 through social networks directly from the screen
 application.

 
 The application distribute content
 daily as The New York Times , The Washington
 Post
and magazines Vogue , Fortune or People , and
 photographs from the Getty agency.

 
 In all, Facebook has 72 partners
 in the project.



 
 The application currently only works
 US
and smartphones iPhone Apple.



 
 The launch comes shortly after
 the social network announced earlier this month that more than 894
 million of the more than 1 , 000 million users who access
 daily to do the network through mobile, which makes it
 priority support.
