Thermal anomalies detected in the pyramid of Cheops – Daily Mail

Several temperature anomalies were observed in four large pyramids near Cairo, particularly in the huge Cheops , revealed Monday the Minister of Egyptian Antiquities at a conference Evening conference organized at the foot of the pyramid.

These first results of thermal analysis undertaken since the release of the mission “Scan Pyramids” on 25 October, by Egyptian scientists, French, Japanese and Canadian open the way to multiple interpretations.

Scientists “could state a number of thermal anomalies in all the monuments studied (…) but one is particularly impressive . It is in this phase of the pyramid of Cheops, at ground level, “according to a press release of the mission.

Some stone blocks had a difference of up to 6 ° C compared to neighbors. This resulted in the thermal camera images by the appearance of ‘warm’ colors, while the rest of the monument predominate cold inks, from blue to magenta (fuchsia).

The reasons for thermal anomaly remains unknown, but may indicate the existence of a secret camera.

Thanks to infrared technology and sophisticated sensors, the team surveyed the pyramids of Cheops and Chephren which together with that of Mykerinos integrate Guiza- famous pyramids and other two in Dahshur, located south of Cairo.

This project will continue until the end of 2016, and is a new attempt to clarify the mystery surrounding the construction of the pyramids.

“Cheops today reveal one of his secrets,” he said enthusiastically Antiquities Minister Mahmoud Eldamaty at the beginning of the press conference.

“I have some ideas, but I can not reveal them until you’re sure,” added the minister, still trying to keep the suspense.
