The Russian space shuttle “Progress M-27M” for days orbiting out of control, entered the Earth’s atmosphere and disintegrated.
The entrance was at 23.04 , Argentina hour, on the Pacific Ocean , as was announced this morning a spokesman for the Russian space agency Roscosmos to the Tass news agency.
The researchers had predicted the ferry, which weighed more than seven tonnes, would disintegrate almost completely, except for the parts of titanium and stainless steel. For now it was unclear whether the remains fell on Earth.
The shuttle was launched on Tuesday April 28 from the Baikonur space station in Kazakhstan, driven by a Soyuz carrier rockets and loaded with 2.4 tons of supplies destined for the International Space Station (ISS) .
However, the carrier rockets erred in reaching the planned orbit, as a result of which the ship turned on its axis toward a wrong orbit and failed to stabilize using radio signals , so that their uncontrolled fall is inevitable.
According to the Russian space agency Roskosmos, the ISS had enough food and technical material.
the space station, which orbits about 400 kilometers above the Earth, currently working six astronauts and is expected to three of them return to Earth in mid-May.
