Square Enix has suspended sales of the version for Mac Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn , and is offering to repay the money all users who have purchased the game on this platform. The main problem was that due to a communication error, did not specify the requirements of the game to run in the Mac , so many people complained about not being able to open it.
The producer and director of Square Enix, Naoki Yoshida , wrote in the forums its website: “We have received many comments complaining about the Mac version as well as several problems that have been derived from the information we had introduced before the launch”
Also, Yoshida said the launch of <. strong> version for Apple computers was launched too early , before completing the last maintenance, so that helped give these problems. This was explained in the Forum Square Enix:
In order to fix several bugs in the Mac version, we had scheduled maintenance ending on June 23. However, by poor communication it was put on sale earlier than expected and many people that version was downloaded with problems.
