Progress cargo ship heads to space station … – euronews

Russia successfully launches Progress cargo ship bound for the International Space Station ( EEI ).

The spacecraft, launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, should be attached to the orbital outpost on Sunday.

The freighter carrying fuel, food, water, scientific equipment and equipment maintenance.

The success of this mission was vital for the crew of the International Space Station ( EEI ) since the last two attempts to bring supplies to the platform were unsuccessful.

Every year Russia sends three to four cargo ships with supplies for the crew currently consists of two Russians and an American.
