Mark Zuckerberg plans to build an artificial butler in 2016 – swissinfo.ch

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Mark Zuckerberg wants to build an artificial intelligent assistant in 2016 to help you manage your home and assist in the work, said founder and CEO of Facebook .

Zuckerberg, who assumes a new personal challenge each year, revealed his plan in a Facebook post on Sunday.

“You may think that’s sort of Jarvis in Iron Man” , Zuckerberg wrote, referring to the steward of artificial intelligence that appears in the Marvel comics and movies.

Zuckerberg start the project exploring existing technology, he wrote. You will begin to teach technology to understand your voice and learn to control everything in your home, such as music, lights or temperature.

His plans also include teaching assistant opened the door to his friends to recognize his face when ring the bell, Zuckerberg wrote. The wizard will display information to help Zuckerberg to work, he wrote.

“It will be a fun intellectual challenge code this myself,” he wrote. “I’m willing to share what you learn in the course of the year.”

Other challenges Zuckerberg has taken in recent years are read two books a month and learn Mandarin. .
