Periodic table has four new members – Latest News

 The latest update of the periodic table was held in 2011 with the addition of elements 114 (Flerovium) and 116 (Livermorium)

 

A .- The atomic numbers 113, 115, 117 and 118 are now occupied by four superheavy chemical elements found by scientists Japan, Russia and the United States and recognized by the International Union Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), organization that governs chemical nomenclature.

The latest update of the periodic table was held in 2011 adding elements 114 (Flerovium) and 116 (Livermorium), who were named in honor of the laboratories were synthesized.
