Filtran intimate photos Snapchat 200,000 users – The Informatico Group

New filtration photographs. This time have been filtered no less than intimate photos to 200,000 users of the messaging application Snapchat and which have been published in a particular forum.

After the scandal of the massive leak of photographs of iCloud Apple again the safety of internet services is at stake with this new leak photos.

Not only are photos but personal and intimate video between all become one total of 13 Gb of information confidential that has captured over the past two years due to third-party clients with some problem security.

Filtration Photo affects those who use the Snapchat service and shared their photos with other people. The funny thing is that the service allows such sharing privately and the pictures are deleted in a limited time.

The problem comes when a lot of people use third-party clients of the application and therefore have time to save the images before they are removed for service.

In that short time, at least one third-party client, found a vulnerability and have hacked so the leakers have been collecting each of the photos and videos that have been watching for this service in at least the past two years. This service itself could be Snapsave which have been hacked and users’ privacy has been breached through the entire filtration media.

From Snapchat have aware of the problem and argue that their servers were never compromised and therefore are not the source of the leaks. Also say that users have been victims of treasury third party applications through the snaps, something forbidden in Snapchat.
