Microsoft announces that Windows 10 will arrive on July 29 – Financial Journal

Microsoft announced yesterday that its new Windows 10 operating system will be available worldwide on July 29, as a free upgrade for users of the latest versions of Windows.
The world’s largest software company had said earlier that Windows 10 would be launched this “summer” (boreal).


Windows 10, which may be used in touch screens, brings back the button “Start” menu and will work on PCs, tablets and smartphones. Moreover, it is the latest attempt by Microsoft to win over users of mobile devices and introduces a new search engine called “Edge”.


The new operating system will be offered as a free upgrade for users Windows 7 and 8.1, one strategy announced in January designed to capture the largest possible number of customers. Microsoft also said the new PCs and tablets with Windows 10 will go on sale the same day, while for other devices will be available later this year.
