Tonight there will be rain of stars – El Universal

The night of Wednesday 12 and Thursday morning 13 may witness a great spectacle in the sky, this is the meteor shower Perseids and can be seen throughout the northern hemisphere.

According to the Astronomical Society Niribu, can be seen close to 100 objects per hour and promises to be highly bright.

meteor comes from the constellation Perseus and are remnants of the comet 109P / Swift-Tuttle passing through the Earth every 133 years.

The best time to watch the show is between 1:30 and 4:00 am Thursday, Mexico Central Time.

To observe no telescope or binoculars are needed because they can see with the naked eye.
