Facebook can send Spotify songs on your messaging service – Financial Journal

The instant messaging platform Facebook has enabled the option to share music from Spotify through chat, in the same way that photos are sent , videos or GIFs.

the social network Mark Zuckerberg has taken another step in its bid to improve and increase the services offered to its users. After its integration with other platforms like Uber, now Facebook Messenger has enabled the option to share music from Spotify with our friends via chat.

This is the first integration of Messenger with a music platform streaming, and the announcement has given the very instant messaging application by an official publication, collected by the portal Geek Wire.

This new option, which will qualifying itself progressively to users of iOS and Android, allows send songs or playlists from Spotify in the same way sent photos, videos or GIFs through Messenger.

the way to share music with friends is very simple. Once in the chat, there is to click the “More” option at the bottom bar of the same (next to the option to send photos or videos). Once in this menu, the Spotify option that will redirect us to the application, where you can select the song, artist or playlist you want to send.

The music platform has recently reached 20 million users payment, according Statista. With its integration with Facebook Messenger, Spotify takes a step forward in its “battle” for leading music streaming over other competitors like Apple or Deezer Music
