Facebook is planning to allow news websites send new information to publish directly to your Facebook Messenger.

According to a report by website specializing in news marketing, Marketing Land, a reference to the sector in the US, Facebook could make this announcement in April at its annual developer conference F8. According to sources cited by Marketing Land, the company already has been testing this tool with the site Bild German technology, which launched its service Bild Ticker in January, allowing their followers to subscribe to receive notifications via Messenger news, promotions and any kind.

But Facebook Messenger would be neither the first nor the only company bringing news via messaging.

in fact, the Washington Post, BuzzFeed and NBC news have been Kik testing as a tool to bring their information; The Economist uses Line; The Huffington Post does through Viber and BBC News uses Viber, WhastApp and even Telegram, a platform growing to increasingly use media.

Although the media will be first with this new tool Facebook, Messenger will have more uses. As in the past the company integrated Giphy to send Gifs, services like Uber are already present in some countries you ask a driver, while some television programs use it to generate more complicity with the audience, as the US chain ABC, which allows Miss Piggy from the Muppets talk to users through this tool.

the last word will Mark Zuckerberg at the event F8 developer to be held between 12 and April 13 .
