.- Mark Zuckerberg is great news for users of its social network. Its application Facebook Messenger launched calls free for all its users. The good thing about this update is that it is available for both iOS and Android worldwide.

David Marcus , head of Facebook Messenger, announced through your account that users can communicate by selecting the button-shaped phone that should appear between Wednesday and Thursday this week.

If you do not find the phone icon appears, it is a matter of waiting a few hours to leave a new update of Facebook.

At the moment only they can make voice calls and videoconferences not through smartphones. Furthermore calls are available up to 50 users in a conversation. And one recommendation is to use the nearest WiFi network and not the data plan not to be going the balance.

This measure is a strategy to compete directly with other systems calls as Skype or google Hangouts. note that Facebook implemented years ago calling service but not in group chats.

The advantage of Facebook Messenger is that calls do not sound distorted or voices seem robots. It also has a database of 900 million users that is far superior to Skype and Hangouts.

It is not surprising that the next step are group video calls. soon see the updates that will bring us Facebook Messenger and what improvements will have their rivals to retain their users.
