DETROIT, Michigan, USA – Toyota reported the creation of a new company scientific data that will be responsible for the rapid changes in the way in which people move. The new company will be named Toyota Connected. It will work together with Microsoft to accelerate research efforts regarding connected vehicles, freelancers and other innovations mobility.

The press director of Toyota North America, Zack Hicks, said the new company will investigate on vehicles able to communicate with each other and housing, as well as telematics functions learning and anticipate driving habits.

He stressed that networks of connected vehicles will be able to share information on road conditions and traffic .

Toyota said the new company already supports research regarding artificial intelligence and robots.

Toyota Connected will have offices in Plano, Texas, where Toyota moving its central facilities in United States.
