Kickstarter just arrived in Spain and will begin publishing campaigns on June 2, but users can already create their projects.
Kickstarter platform crowdfunding (collective financing) most popular Internet, continues its international expansion. is already present in 12 countries and has now reached Spain, where designers, photographers, filmmakers and all kinds of creators may use to receive financial support for different projects, reports Cinco Dias.
Kickstarter begin publishing the first campaigns in this country on June 2, but users can create their own projects from today. Their leaders are translating the whole website into Spanish , where offered, among other things, a guide of questions and answers and a user’s creator (yet) for those who start using the service.
The Spanish projects appear in euros and in Spanish, although the platform recommended to include an English translation description and videos to reach more people.
To celebrate this release, Kickstarter has partnered with Sonar + D to present a selection of projects and significant events with creativity and technology conference to be held in Barcelona on 18 and 20 June.
Since its launch on April 28, 2009, have been funded over 85,000 projects . Which has raised more money to date it has been the Time Pebble smart watch, with 13.3 million dollars (11.9 million euros).
