Samsung reached an agreement with the Spanish Sherpa to enter your voice assistant on mobile devices sold in Spain, a collaboration that will materialize first Galaxy models S6 and S6 Edge and later reach other terminals the firm.
According to news agency EFE , the agreement could be extended to Latin America in the future.
The Next Sherpa application is a personal and voice recognition for Android that provides content (such as weather information, sports scores, horoscope and recreational suggestions, etc.) and a predictive search engine based on the preferences and activity assistant user.
The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge sold in Spain from next June will take preinstalled application, as the corporate vice president of Samsung in Spain, Celestino Garcia, and in the future will be installed other models.
The Edge S6 model will feature a special version of Sherpa to harness the curved edge to provide notifications.
According to the founder of Sherpa, Xabier Uribe-Etxebarria, the application differs from its competitor Google Now that offers easier use, personalized content and localized for Spain and its predictive algorithm “succeeds more.”
