Astronaut wrong number call from space – Terra Colombia

Anyone can call a phone number wrong, but it happens from space.

The British astronaut Tim Peake Christmas tweeted apologies from the International Space Station after dialing a wrong number.

wrote that “I would like to apologize to the lady that I called by mistake, saying, ‘Hello, ¿planet Earth?’: It’s not a joke, just a wrong number.”

The former military pilot of 43 years did not say who it was. It is the first British astronaut reaches space station and millions of his countrymen continue their mission with great interest.

Peake also tweeted Christmas greetings.

The nation seemed to be paralyzed on December 15, the day of launch: many left their jobs to follow the live images of the rocket leaving Earth.

A British astronomer said they could see the space station to cross the sky on Christmas Day.

Robin Scagell, of the Society for Popular Astronomy, said the station would go on London relatively close to the horizon and would be “the brightest star in the sky, moving rapidly from west to East”.

Peake plans to conduct experiments on the reaction of the human body in space and -dándole a British hue, space exploration to test a new way of making tea in weightlessness.

Located on the space station with five American and Russian astronauts.
