SpaceX rocket returns to Earth without complications – ElTiempo.com

The US company SpaceX managed to land its Falcon 9 rocket on Monday for the first time, an unprecedented event in space history motivated with the attempt to reduce costs and transforming waste into reusable rocket ships .

SpaceX successfully launched the Falcon 9 in order to carry 11 satellites to low Earth orbit, and then managed to return to the planet of the first body launcher.

The rocket took off at 20:29 from Cape Canaveral (United States). A minutes after launch, the rocket’s first stage, which gives it its power despegue- came off and began to return to Earth, while the second body was propelling satellites into space.

Thanks to engines subsided fall rocket’s first stage landed softly upright 11 minutes after takeoff, I was through the images of the operation spread in live on the company’s billionaire Elon Musk.

This is the first time an orbital rocket achieves a controlled landing. “I still can not quite believe” Musk said in a conference call after landing. “I think it’s a revolutionary time. No one ever managed to recover an intact orbital launcher” he said.

The rocket reached a height of 200 kilometers before returning to Earth and land on a test exbase for rockets and missiles of the US Air Force, which had not been used since 1978.

The second body of the rocket achieved in the next few minutes largar 11 satellites in ORBCOMM communications company to lower Earth orbit. “We confirmed the first step of landing the Falcon,” SpaceX tweeted. “All the 11 ORBCOMM satellites were deployed in nominal orbit,” he said.

NASA also welcomed the achievement. “CongratulationsSpaceX for vertical landing of the first stage back on Earth!” , the US space agency wrote in a trill.

Recover Falcon 9 rocket’s first stage will allow SpaceX to save money, because currently the components of these devices cost millions of dollars and often end up as waste after each launch.

In other cases and

have failed several attempts landing rockets on floating platforms in the ocean, but SpaceX ensures that every attempt has taught them more about how to succeed in the future.

Last month, Amazon founder and owner of the company Blue Origin rocket, Jeff Bezos , said it managed to land successfully after rocket New Shepard suborbital flight.

New Shepard flew at a lower altitude than the Falcon 9, which made its landing easier it would be for the rocket Musk, say experts. On 28 June, the Falcon 9 exploded two minutes after launch, also destroying its unmanned cargo ship Dragon, with provisions for astronauts living in the International Space Station (ISS).
