Today Under the North American International Auto Show, which began Monday and will run until January 25, the automaker introduced the new Buick waterfall, an elegant four-seater convertible, which will be available initially in the United States in the first quarter of 2016.
The Buick waterfall is powered by a 1.6 Turbo ECOTEC direct injection with 200 hp / 147 kW. The four-cylinder engine delivers a maximum torque of 300 Nm.
One of the highlights of the waterfall is its high quality soft top can be opened or closed in 17 seconds by pressing a button, even driving at speeds up to 50 km / h. The four-seater comes with a luxurious equipment including alloy wheels 20 inch leather seats that automatically slide forward for easy entry to the rear seat passengers. Another feature is the IntelliLink multimedia system with touch screen color seven-inch.
In the US, the market for convertibles increased by three percent, reaching 131 thousand units in the period between 2009 and 2013. This segment is characterized by a great customer loyalty: 37% of buyers return to buy a convertible when you purchase your new car. However, two thirds of them tend to switch brands, which gives a great potential to conquer the Buick waterfall.
