What are the favorite social networks users to follow brands? – Merca2.0

According to the Annual Survey of Social Networks conducted by IAB Spain, 84 percent of Internet users follow a brand on social networks, with the main objective to learn about these, plus to receive promotions and to participate in contests. But what are the most followed to carry out this activity?

In this edition which has been included for the first time WhatsApp, Telegram, Line and Vine, not surprisingly again become Facebook the most used to follow brands (81 percent) network, while quite far ranks second Twitter (25 percent) followed by Instagram (11 percent).

And interestingly, according to the study participants, the presence of brands in social networks is a confidence factor for 31 percent of these.

on the other hand, when it is influencers, research has found that 85 percent of Internet users follow them on social networks, especially women (88 percent) mainly as a reference source (71 percent)

as for e-Commerce and social networks, only 14 percent said they have ever bought through them, however as an influence on the purchasing process, their role is greater, especially Facebook, which 65 percent designated as influencer.

in the case of advertising on these channels, 51 percent agree that brands advertise through social networks, with 27 percent seems too positive and a group of 20 percent who do not like the ads and as very annoying.

According to the results this research has produced an increase in social networks per user (4.7 per user), Facebook being the most used (94 percent of users), with WhatsApp in second place (88 percent).

the best rated with WhatsApp and YouTube with 8.5 and 8.1 points respectively and average usage rate is 3.8 days per week for 2h 57m between all those in which it has profile.
