The technological orgy that gathers in Las Vegas each year can even stun the fans of gadgets and gizmos. Thousands of products fill the halls of the exhibition and only a handful actually becomes a market success.

But amid all the noise and the noise can read between lines. The CES is a platform to present technology trends and look where the market moves.

This year there are six items that catch our attention and make us believe that 2015 will be a year interesting for gadget lovers.

1. 4K TV

The TVs have always monopolized the floor in this exhibition. 3D devices a couple of years, devices with the previous edition curves are just some examples.

This time the 4K TVs are those that attract attention. These are devices that reach up to 4,000 pixel resolution from side to side, horizontally. Previously resolution TVs are measured vertically so that a HD TV had a resolution of 1,080 pixels. Under this measure, a 4K device would have 2,160 pixels.

But so far been more a promise than a reality. Its price is high and there is enough content to show that resolution at its finest glory.

Things could change this year. And devices that cost less than $ 1,000 and Amazon and Netflix have promised to have more content in 4K were announced.

2. Smart Cars

It is possible that this year the focus are intelligent cars. 2015 is seen as the year in which the internet (and always connected cars) become a reality.

Even it is safest us to witness the start of a battle between Google and Apple in this new field. In one corner are the manufacturers with cars that have in their AndroidAuto guts and the other those who bet on Apple CarPlay. None of them on display at CES, but his presence will be felt in the distance.

Of course there will be third in discord but most opt for one of the most popular operating systems.

Mercedes Benz is one of those who seek to draw attention to its plans for a car with semiautomatic driving, a space in which Google is also experimenting. And the German Volkswagen already announced it will double the cars for this year.

3. Virtual reality and wearable technology

The concept of virtual reality became a fact last year, but we expect it to hit the market and consumers begin to adopt it. Oculus Rift has attracted the attention of the press, but not the only player in the market.

It is likely that “Project Morpheus” Sony also make an appearance at CES. The device will search focused on video games complement the PlayStation 4 console and launch this year. The Gear VR Samsung (which is already on sale, as a prototype) probably also have an important role on this occasion. The Korean device requires a phone Galaxy Note 4 to operate.

The wearable technology (wearables) were a big hit last year and will talk about this time. This year the focus will be on devices that help cuantificarnos, either by measuring the calories consumed, corridos kilometers or heartbeat.

Last year 19 million of these devices were launched market, but the number is expected to increase dramatically in 2015.

4. Drones

The UAVs (or drones) with digital cameras presented at CES with a section devoted specifically to them.

One of the biggest attractions will Zano, a small aerial device that fits in the palm but is capable of recording video in high resolution.

The large number of companies that exhibit drones and fall in prices makes us think that this may be the year that begins to make inroads among consumers.

Also companies like Amazon and Google are also among those who seek to make way for these devices in the corporate world.

5. Robots

The RoboScreen ABB Robotics is one of the androids who steal spotlight this year. It is a robot with a giant screen, you can move at will and respond to music or events.

Another player who will be in Las Vegas will Keecker one robot projector that was funded through Kickstarter and moving everywhere before projecting images on any wall.

And of course we also expect more robo-Aspidoras in a market dominated so far for Roomba but will have stiff competition from the company Dyson vacuum cleaner robot with “Eye 360″.

There are smart watches and smart belt …?.

6. Security

In recent months cyber threats and attacks by crackers (hackers with malicious intent) have become commonplace. Therefore it is expected that computer security and privacy also dominate the agenda at the show in Las Vegas.

This time there will be more than 60 companies offering focused on privacy products or digital security.

With the “internet of things” and the houses “always connected” will be a heavy emphasis on how to care for our data. CES will have an area dedicated to these issues and hopefully many of them focus on preventing fraud and identity theft
