Washington, (Efe) -. Californian technology company Apple today announced it will begin selling iPhone 5s and 5c China from January 17 , after reaching an agreement with the telecommunications company China Mobile .

China Mobile with over 700 million customers, is the leading telecommunications company in the Asian giant, and from January 17 in their stores will offer Apple models.
The announcement was released in a joint statement from both companies, however, does not detail the financial terms of the agreement.
While Apple is the leading smartphone supplier in most of the world, only China had a market share of 6% amid increased competition from domestic producers and other companies like Samsung.
