Bethesda accepts plates refreshment of a fan as payment for Fallout 4

One of the most exciting announcements of E3 2015 was that of Fallout 4 , the next installment of the saga Bethesda mythical post-apocalyptic. A fan has excited him so much that he tried to book a paying refresh plates with 2000 copies, and ever has.

In the world created by the studies of Bethesda, besides being plagued by horrible mutant creatures and beings who want to kill many, the type of currency used are the sheets, not dollars or euros or any ticket. The fan assiduous follower of the saga confession, and has therefore mailed to you nothing modest sum of 2240 plates to the offices of Bethesda, hoping that accept as payment because it is a genius (and a very Geek ).

Matt Grandstaff, an official spokesman of Bethesda, reports receiving sheets yesterday, and yes, his office smelled beer.

But receiving is not the same as accepting them. Bethesda seems to take seriously their most passionate fans, so we have decided to give a copy of Fallout 4 fanatic, whose pseudonym on social networks is “GatorMacheteJr”. He himself confirmed:

In the email you received the same Grandstaff announcing that yes, agreed to barter and get your copy of Fallout 4 once it is available on 10 November this year. What is not clear is if you give a normal copy or one of those lush and great collector’s editions including an actual Pip-Boy.

Definitely It was a great gesture from Bethesda to consent to this fan so passionate about their games with this gesture. I’m sure you get the 2240 should not have been an easy feat, and perhaps even you could have come more expensive than paying the $ 60 it costs to play, but this I’m not sure. But the important thing here is the symbolic, and as payment for the new Fallout using the currency of Fallout.

However, before they are put creative and start sending millions of sheets to the offices of Bethesda, attention to this message on Twitter:

Yes, this was a very limited one promotion. With this, Grandstaff only asks: “Please do not send me more plates, I can not stand the smell in my office.” [Via Matt Grandstaff / GatorMacheteJr]
