YouTube is now focused on mobile – ElEspectador.com

The way you look and make YouTube videos on your phone is about to change. YouTube is unveiling a redesign of its mobile app, immediately visible on Android devices and soon on Apple devices.

The app has a “simplified design,” says YouTube, three main ways:. a page of custom home, a page for channels that users have subscribed and a page of your account

Updates to the app were announced in VidCon The annual conference on online video in southern California, where the CEO of YouTube, Susan Wojcicki gave a keynote speech. “ We are focused on three priorities: mobile, mobile, mobile ” said

The CEO added that the redesign of the app also makes it easy to create video <. /> strong> and upload them directly to YouTube from the phone, where they include basic editing tools and filters.

Wojcicki also said it has “vertical video playback”, a new craze popularized by video production snapchat. She hinted that there will be other features that will arrive later this year.

YouTube, which is owned by Google, is so far the site playback world’s largest video. but faces new competition from Facebook, Twitter, snapchat and a bevy of other rivals.
