Did you have a difficult breakup? Facebook helps you forget your ex – El Nuevo Herald

Facebook started testing on Thursday a number of optional tools for their users, after a break, may limit their interactions with their former partners in the network.

“We are testing tools to help people manage how to interact with their former partners in Facebook after finishing their relationship, “said the product manager for Facebook, Kelly Winters, in a message on the official blog of the group.

The idea is that the user activates the tools to see fewer publications of his former partner on your screen “start” and the name of it will not be suggested for tagging messages or pictures, but without the need to block or remove it from their friends list, Winters said.

The tools also limit updates, photos, videos or emotional state that can be seen by the ex-partner, and allow them to “desetiquetarse” publications with their ex-boyfriends.

“We hope these tools will help people to end their relationships on Facebook more easily, comfortable and in control,” Winters added.

Once the user stops indicate that you are in a relationship, you will be invited to use these tools, which have now been tested Facebook applications for mobile devices in the United States.
