Twitter announced a reorganization – Globovisión

Twitter is in reorganization, he said its founder and chairman, Jack Dorsey, to announce the release of five members of the leadership of the social network, which faced tough times and tries to improve its profitability and growth prospects.

In a lengthy statement, Dorsey said what it called “inaccurate media speculation” on the internal reorganization, claiming that the departing executives “have chosen to leave the company.”

He said the chief operating officer of Twitter, Adam Bain, “assume additional responsibilities” as part of the restructuring, and the chief technology officer, Adam Messinger.

Slow growth

The Wall Street Journal said that Twitter plans to integrate two new members of the board of the company next week, and at least one of them would be an executive of high-profile media industry.

Dorsey returned to the presidency of the group in order to give a second wind.

Investors are concerned about the growth prospects of Twitter, whose listing on the stock market has fallen sharply in the past weeks. The number of Twitter users has increased slowly in recent quarters.

In late September Twitter claimed 320 million users worldwide, only four million more than three months earlier.

Twitter must report financial results for the fourth quarter of 2015 on February 10.

Another executive is going to Google

Separately, Jason Toff, who ran on Twitter equipment video application Vine, announced Sunday that left the company to go to Google.
