PlayStation 3 are reporting that their PS3 is frozen after downloading the latest update of ‘software’ system Sony , according to the IGN technology portal.
The update is designed to improve system stability and add prize notification options, but do not seem to be working.
official forums of PlayStation users have been filled with searching for answers. Some have tried to reformat their consoles in order to solve the problem, but this apparently blocks the system.
“We are aware of reports of the update of the PlayStation 3 system (version 4.45) is causing problems in a small number of devices,” said a spokesman for Sony to IGN.
“We temporarily removed update and we are investigating the cause of the problem. announce as soon as the system update is available for download. Apologies for the inconvenience,” he added.
Thus, it is recommended to users who, for the moment, do not install the update.
