So Peter Gruss has been shown in a statement sent from Munich to the Prince of Asturias. The award jury for the Prince of Asturias Award for International Cooperation 2013 has valued the “European vocation, the interdisciplinary approach and close cooperation between research centers and universities around the world” of Max Planck scientific society.
centers within the network perform basic research in the interest of society in the fields of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. The Max Planck Society encompasses multiple disciplines in areas such as physical, chemical, biological or Earth, among others, as well as projects related to climate research and international space missions.
The jury highlightedteams also highly qualified young scientists committed to the most advanced areas of research taking place in the world.
