Spanish surgeon performed surgery broadcast live to other physicians lenses using Google or Google Glass. The operation was a cell graft in the patient’s knee.
The event was broadcast live via the glasses to 150 medical professionals from the United States, Europe and Australia who spoke to the surgeon during surgery
“I have not been bothered at all. I’ve forgotten his glasses,” said Pedro Guillen, Chief of Trauma Clinic City Centre.
The company that developed the software for glasses during surgery, Droider , said that working on a program for a physician to know the heartbeat of a patient just by looking at his face.
