Microsoft: Windows 10 is already installed on over 75 million devices – Daily Mail

The US-based technology Microsoft today announced that more than 75 million devices have installed the latest update of your system OS Windows 10 since its debut (less than a month ago).

Through its social network account Twitter , Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of Windows groups and devices at Microsoft, said that Windows 10 is now operating in 192 countries, “virtually every country on the planet” and said the Cortana digital assistant has received over half a million jokes in response to the indication users “tell a joke”.

The technology company offered the update of the operating system for free in late July, with the aim of achieving 1,000 million users of Windows 10 over the next three years.

A total of 14 million devices they installed the operating system in the 24 hours after you launch on July 29.

Among the new features of Windows 10 is the new Edge browser and the desktop version of Cortana, the equivalent voice assistant and Google Now Siri, Apple.

Cortana can not only respond to user questions, open applications and take notes, but “sense of humor” and is able to count jokes.

Windows 10 reintroduced the Start menu (Start) through which users can access the applications and functions they use most and had disappeared in the previous update of the operating system, the unpopular Windows 8.

Windows 10 also provides the option to rearrange and resize the icons.

Also , users have the option of accessing their devices using facial recognition, iris or fingerprint, thereby avoiding having to enter passwords.

Microsoft said in April it expects to enter about 15,000 million dollars this year the sale of Windows.
