Microsoft: Windows 10 now at 75 million units – El Nuevo Herald

Less than a month after the release of Windows 10, Microsoft said Wednesday that his new operating system is already installed on over 75 million computers, tablets and other devices.

Analysts say it is a good start, though the company hopes to have the software installed in 1000 million units over the next three years. Microsoft says it expects Windows 10 help strengthen loyalty among consumers who increasingly depend on tablets, and other multi-cellular systems.

Microsoft offers Windows 10 as a free download for many computer owners. It is also installed on new devices for sale from the coming months. In addition to new features and capabilities, Microsoft designed Windows 10 to correct unpopular elements in the previous version.
