Sony is expanding its business arm and now point to the world of drones, presenting the first prototype of one of these devices in conjunction with the firm ZMP (via Wall Street Journal).
prototype can reach speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour with a flight range of up to two hours, while its weight is about 10 kilograms. Autosense, the company formed by Sony and ZMP, offers among its services access to areas difficult to reach by traditional vehicles and for this, a drone never hurts.
For Sony, this also means out some of its business as usual and move to an area not yet exploited, but that is becoming more and more participants. Because today the drones give to all uses and that includes both good works as the not so good, such as drugs entering prisons.
