According to a report from TSSZ , SEGA could launch a new set of Sonic to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series.
This rumor arose when the musician Johnny Gioeli, member of Crush 40, accidentally revealed on Facebook that the band planned to give some shows in 2016 “to commemorate the anniversary of Sonic ” adding that perhaps participate in the creating “new songs for the anniversary game”. However, suspiciously, Gioeli eliminated the publication later.
Remember that Crush 40 has contributed to the soundtrack of the franchise, for example, with songs like Open Your Heart , main theme of Sonic Adventure and Knight of the Wind , final issue of Sonic and the Black Knight . Gioeli so surely did not speak lightly.
For now, we can only wait for SEGA out to confirm or deny the rumors and, of course, craving the next installment of Sonic is much better than the most recent.
