Facebook offers more control over the News Feed – The Universal


  Facebook has made some changes in your News Feed (news service). The company released a new set of menu options and news service that allow users to customize the types of content you see in your News Feed on both the Facebook mobile app and on the web.
 


 


 From now on, users can follow or unfollow content contact easier. As explained Greg Marra, director of the product, the user determines the News Feed content you see on the news does. That’s why they want to facilitate some tasks, because in a day in the news service user 500 a thousand different stories, of which only sees around 150 shows.
 


 


 “Now in the configuration of News Feed is a list of key people, pages and groups you’ve seen in their news over the last week is shown. You can also see who has left to continue in the past, if you want to choose follow them back, “said Marra said in a statement.
 


 


 Currently when a person receives a publication that is not interested, you can click on the arrow to the right of the message to hide it from your timeline. Now, you can choose to see fewer stories of that friend or page that we follow.
 


 


 If you decide to opt for this option, the network will provide an “unfollow” to that page or user option. On Facebook, unfollow not mean stop being friends. This is an option that eliminates the News Feed publications that person, but continues as a contact. Users may always cofirgurar your News Feed as they wish, to receive new updates that contact.
 


 


 The new News Feed option is available on the web and desktop version will arrive in the coming weeks to mobiles.
