Leon, Nov. 14 (EFE) .- The National Institute for Cyber Security (INCIBE), based in León, warned today of a scam that has begun circulating the internet with the deactivation of the double ‘check’ Blue program WhatsApp instant bait, actually subscribes to the user without their consent sms service ‘premium’ messaging.
The popular messaging program updated last week including a development that has caused great dispute between the service users, double ‘check’ blue INCIBE recalled today in a statement.
This functionality is possible to know who has read the messages on both an individual and one group chat .
The INCIBE warns that cybercriminals have begun to try to take advantage of this fact and circulated across social networks like Facebook or Twitter messages indicating that it is possible to disable the feature of double ‘check ‘Blue to trick users to subscribe to premium SMS services.
