The powertrain of Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo is based on the system of fuel cell hydrogen Hyundai, which is the first mass-produced in the world, which It highlights Hyundai Motor’s passion for performance and sustainability. The total power output of the system is 650 kW (884 HP PS), with dual fuel cells providing 500 kW (PS 680), and the system generating 150 kW supercapacitor additional (PS 204) using energy regenerated during braking. This incredible power is provided by four independent high power motors located in the wheels, which provide strong traction and instant response.

The compact and lightweight fuel cell assemblies, and rigid CFRP monocoque structure allows the car to maintain a low weight of 972 kg, which gives a ratio of weight- power is equated with the most exotic supercars in the world. This power and this performance, combined with a low center of gravity, give the car a configuration that allows high yields in the most challenging race tracks, which summarizes the premise exciting cars of the sub “N”.

As the air flows through the hexagonal grid patented Hyundai Motor to the lower chassis structure boat-shaped, tube type conduit for lower air supply, which is connected to the rear, minimizes pressure at the bottom of the chassis and produces maximum downforce. Furthermore, the air brakes are activated according to the speed and brake application to reduce the skid.

While the N Gran Turismo Vision 2025 is based on green technology, the vehicle will touch the fans simply by the deep growl of its powertrain. The sounds of the fan turbine (rotating at about 200 000 rpm), the only frequency of fuel cell assemblies, the sound of discharging hydrogen cooling system and the high-pitched sound of the motor in the wheel are combined harmoniously to produce a distinctive roar of race car, which further stimulates the pilot.

The prototype design Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo is inspired by aeronautics and tests on the “Rogers Dry Lake” (formerly known as “dry lake Muroc”) where pilots and astronauts are trained and risked their lives in the pursuit of space travel. This innovative and daring spirit was the main reason for the design of the car.
