Facebook bought Instagram in 2012 by 1,000 million dollars and quickly capitalize on the application.
More than 75% of Instagram users live outside the United States, the company said in its blog. More than half of the 100 million users are more recent in Europe and Asia, but Brazil, Japan and Indonesia are the countries providing the largest number of new accounts.
