  • Mark Zuckerberg will make competition to Salesforce

  • service costs ranging from dollar to three dollars per user

Facebook wants you to use Facebook at work – and to do that the company for which you work to pay for the access. A new office version of the social network, called the Workplace, will be available starting Monday and will allow employees to collaborate among themselves on products, listen to their leaders talk on Facebook Live and posting updates about your work on the wall (news feed).

The companies would have to pay 3 dollars a month per employee for the first 1,000 active users, $ 2 per person, 1,001 to 10,000 users and a dollar for each worker, additional, said Facebook in a statement.

The product will give Facebook a new source of income complementary to the advertising in their free social network. Workplace is designed to compete with Microsoft services, Salesforce.com and Slack Technologies to offer a controlled environment in line for talks of collaboration in the workplace. Microsoft is in the process of buying LinkedIn Corp. to add social elements to their business tools, for example.

“The new place of work global and mobile is not about closed-door meetings, or keep the people separated by title, department or geographic location,” said Facebook in a blog post. “Organizations are stronger and more productive when everyone gets together”. Facebook already has 1,000 organizations that use Workplace, such as Starbucks, Oxfam and Booking.com said the social network in your blog.
