Yahoo’s board has approved the purchase Sunday of Tumblr microblogging portal , which will pay 847 million euros (1.100 million) in cash , as reported to Wall Street Journal sources close.
Tumblr, which allows the dissemination of images, texts, videos, etc.., has an estimated value of 623 million ($ 800 million). Also, recently it has secured additional funding of 97 million euros (125 million dollars).
