An active giant stain on the So l erupted Sunday , October 26, after posting the sixth flare from October 19.

The image shows a bright light at the bottom right of the Sun In an image space observatory SDO (Solar Dynamics Observatory), bright light in the bottom right of the Sun shows the flare. It has been classified as Class X2 and peaked at 11.56 GMT.

This is the third X-flare within 48 hours, in the eruption of the largest active spot recorded in 24 years, reports NASA.

class X denotes the most intense flares , while the number provides more about its strength. A X2 is twice as intense as an X1, X3 is three times more intense, etc.
